    When I was younger, I had a Dragon Quest 8 disc in… I’m not sure if PlayStation or PlayStayion 2. But I wasn’t able to make it even halfway through the game, probably because I didn’t like it.

    Some weeks ago, an officemate told me that Dragon Quest 8 was already available on Android at Google Play Store. I felt that I wanted to give the game another shot. And here I am, enjoying Dragon Quest 8 on Android. 🙂

    I have here some Dragon Quest 8 tips I’d like to share. I’m sure there are already many better guides out there, but I’m writing this anyway:

    I was planning to write my own walkthrough that will guide you to the routes of Emi, Hanako, Lilly, Rin, Shizune, and Miisha… but then I searched and found several others, so I’m not sure anymore if it’s worth writing my own walkthrough. Maybe when I notice that this page gets a generous amount of views? And here it is – my Katawa Shoujo walkthrough.

    Please take note that the paths / choices to character routes that I listed here are not necessarily the “best” choices to make. They are simply choices I took to achieve each given route.

    So… The game Little Busters just had its English patch last month. (This visual novel’s title is stylized with an exclamation mark at the end, like “Little Busters!”, but I won’t do the same here because it’s kinda confusing to read. lol.)

    These days are really busy for me at work, but I have plan to play Little Busters during the time I have no or just one project. 🙂 I’ve been told by someone who also enjoys playing visual novels that this one’s gameplay is so different from the others we have played so far (Kanon, Clannad, Ever 17, 999, etc). How? I’ll find out when I finally play it. I have also been told that it’s a very fun VN.

    Symphonic Rain (Shinfonikku Rein) is a visual novel developed by Kogado Studio. I have played several visual novels in the past, but this one is different, reason being the music games / rhythm games in it.

    I wasn’t a fan of music games, but I have to admit that I enjoy playing the rhythm games of Symphonic Rain. 🙂 The songs are also beautiful that they keep playing inside my head.

    You play as Chris Vertin, a fortell (fictional keyboard-type music instrument) player studying in Piova Music Institute, in a city where rain never stops falling. Each route is basically all about you finding a vocalist to pair with for your graduation recital, while having a long-distance relationship with Arietta, the girlfriend of Chris.

  • Inotia 3 – Cave of Trials and items (Guide / Walkthrough)

    This is a guide on Inotia 3’s Cave of Trials and the items you can get from each cave.

    When you examine the Altar of Trials, it will say:

    I’m not letting you through unless you can pass my test.

    1. I’m pretty confident in my strength, so I’ll take the Strength Test!
    2. My sword is faster than the wind. I’ll take the Agility Test!
    3. I don’t support violence. I’d rather take the Wisdom Test.

    Choosing the Wisdom Test will also lead to “violence” though. lol.

    There are three caves – Crimson Cave of Trials (Strength), Green Cave of Trials (Agility), and Blue Cave of Trials (Wisdom). You can only take only one cave, so it is best to take the one that will give you the item you think will help you the most.

    Let me present a table of the caves for easier reading:

    I chose the Wisdom Test so I could get Celestial Branch, since Lucio is an Arch Mage in my active game.

  • Inotia 3 – Mage Karan’s Shelter guide and authorization code for Hermit Wand, Frozen Gem, Mana Robe, and Thunder Circlet

    You need to talk to Mage Karan during the Cancelling Petrification Spell 5 quest of Inotia 3.

    You have arrived at Karan’s Shelter. But you need to pass through the secret passage to the basement. Let’s use the Golem to find the secret passage and meet Mage Karan.

    This guide will help you get past the golems guarding Mage Karan’s house and get the items Hermit Wand, Frozen Gem, Mana Robe, and Thunder Circlet.

    This Inotia 3 walkthrough / linear game guide is a work in progress. The goal is to guide you through the game from beginning to end. I will be using an Arch Mage, so it’s perfect if you’re using the same class but still usable for those using a different class.

    Even if I’m going to try my best to avoid them, game spoilers may be found in this page.

    This is my second time playing Inotia 3 – Children of Carnia from the start, and this time my goal is to write a linear guide / walkthrough. I was a Rogue in my first Inotia 3 gameplay, and now I am choosing an Arch Mage because I want a golem, high damages and for damaging multiple characters.
