DHL: shipped from Manila, Philippines to Yokohama, Japan

Last Monday, I went to the DHL branch in Greenbelt 1 to send a package to Yokohama. I waited for about 15 minutes for my turn in the queue, only for my package to be rejected because I forgot to take note of the phone number of the person I’m sending the package to.

The next day I tried again, already taken note of the recipient’s phone number. 🙂

I submitted an accomplished form to the staff, which needed the sender and recipient’s complete name, complete address, and contact number. There was also a space where I had to list down the description of items in my package.

My package contained 2 short pants for men, and an enveloped letter. It was almost 2 kilograms in weight.

Shipping fee in DHL for such package from Manila to Yokohama was not cheap, amounting to 1,120 PhP. But it was worth it because I was able to surprise someone in Yokohama, Japan. 🙂 I sent it on Tuesday morning, and it arrived to Yokohama on Friday morning… so, about 3 days. That was fast!
