PDF Download: Head First Java (2nd Edition) – by Katy Sierra and Bert Bates


Learning Java? Great, this book will help you.

I uploaded this Java Programming PDF to share with IT Elective 1 (Object Oriented Programming with Java) classmates. :)

I searched for it in Google, and I’m lucky to find this free e-book of Head First Java – Second Edition. I can’t remember where I got it from though. It’s been days (EDIT: no, it’s been months now! or maybe years), and I got a poor memory. lol.

And by the way, I used A-PDF Split to split the e-book into separate chapters of the PDF for our convenience. The file I downloaded is only one PDF file which had 690 pages. It lags in slow computers. It’s also better off being separated by chapters for ease of reading, right? So, there. :D

Taking up CCNA 2 (Cisco Certified Network Associate – Routing Protocols and Concepts) ? These Powerpoint slides might help you in your study. They are not actually the course materials that you will be able to view as a student. They are the materials being used by instructors. I prefer reviewing using these because they are simpler. And no, no. This ain’t cheatsco. lol.

Free Download of Turbo C++ 3.0 Compiler (With Install Instructions)


UPDATE: If you get the error Linker Error: Unable to open include file ‘C0S.OBJ’ while running your c program (or c++), please try copying the C0S.OBJ from the OBJ folder into the main folder of the compiler. The downloadable c/c++ compiler archive has been updated with this fix.

Note: The procedures on this post were tested on a computer running Windows XP and another which is running Windows 7 (both 32-bit and 64-bit). PLEASE make sure you follow the instructions carefully and copy the sample C program codes correctly before saying that what you downloaded doesn’t work. Thanks, and good luck. :)

Note for users of Windows 7 64-bit: You need to use DOSBox to emulate a 32-bit system because this compiler is not compatible with 64-bit. Install DOSBox, and mount your C:\ drive, or whichever drive you installed Turbo C in.
