The son of former Senate President Aquilino Pimentel Jr. – lawyer Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III has been proclaimed senator today, (August 11, 2011, Thursday) by Senate Electoral Tribunal (SET) at Sofitel Hotel, Pasay City.
SET proclaimed this afternoon that Koko Pimentel was a winner in the 2007 polls, and stated that he led Juan Miguel Zubiri by 258,166 votes.
