Google Chrome is my favorite web browser. Its interface is simple yet appealing, and a very important thing to me: it loads fast when I start it.
I like so many things that are from Google – the search engine, Gmail, Google Plus, Google AdSense, etc. They provide so many great services for free.

I had to visit a Moneygram branch today to receive money that was sent to me. Western Union is where I usually receive money from other countries, and they have many branches. I did a lookup in the Moneygram website to find nearby branches but couldn’t find any. A friend told me SM Business Centers offer Moneygram services, so I tried SM Manila, which is a jeep ride and steps away from home (I don’t consider this a “nearby” branch).
We are having a storm in the Philippines – the Falcon Storm (Bagyong Falcon).
Tropical Storm “FALCON” has maintained its strength as it continues to move North Northwestward.
If I am correctly informed, the Falcon Storm / Bagyong Falcon is a signal number one storm.
For days it has been raining non-stop, or is it just me because whenever I look outside there’s the rain. Based on my observation the rainfall just changes in intensity, but never stops.
The Falcon Storm reminds me so much of Bagyong Ondoy (Typhoon Ketsana) because of the nonstop rainfall and many flooded streets / roads.
Let us pray that Falcon Storm leaves soon so we would not experience again what happened when there was Ondoy. Many homes were flooded, and there was power outage for several days. It was nightmare.

This post is all about the application for an SS Number from SSS (Social Security System).
The other day I was at the Caloocan office of SSS to get an SS number. It took me one hour. It should not have taken so long if it wasn’t because of the queue.
PLEASE NOTE: During my application for an SS number, I had to submit photocopies of my ID’s and present the original copies. You might want to photocopy your ID’s, just to avoid inconvenience.
